You will become familiar with the work required before an actual PPAP can be performed, the process of developing and submitting a Part Submission Warrant (PSW), the forms that must be used, and the PPAP requirements of the major auto, truck and tire manufacturers.

Anyone involved with PPAP submissions, including those in quality, engineering, and those involved in the testing or measurement of PPAP sample parts.

Prerequisite: It is desirable but not absolutely necessary that participants should have some degree of knowledge of FMEA, SPC, Gage R&R, and/or APQP. Bring in a copy of one of your own PPAP submissions!

The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) PPAP manual is used as the reference material for this class. Copies of the manual can be obtained through AIAG via their website Membership in AIAG has its benefits; if your company is not a member of AIAG, The QC Group can provide manuals at additional cost.
In order to have the highest likelihood of success with this class, we encourage the students to obtain their reference materials as soon as possible in order to have plenty of time to familiarize themselves prior to the class date.
